I met :iconalternatecoppa: for the first time at SDCC. Here he is as the tenth Doctor from Doctor Who, showing off the slightly psychic paper. We compared toy sonic screwdrivers (I bought mine that day--most entertaining purchase all weekend!), and I boggled that he looks so much like David Tennant. He said he got prescription glasses in the right style-- that's serious cosplay dedication! I only regret now that I didn't dare him to lick the nearest wall or something. For the sake of photographic art! Because, you know, Ten is the Doctor Who Licks Things No Matter How Icky.

I liked this shot because :iconalternatecoppa: got the David Tennant Doctor expression perfect, and it was a more unusual angle and pose than most of the cosplay photos I took this weekend.

Nice! For a second I thought it actually was David Tennant!

It might be cool if you Photoshopped something on the paper, like "you are not alone". :)

You do an even bigger double-take in person, believe me.

I toyed with the idea of photoshopping onto the paper, maybe "Are you my mummy?" or "Destroyer of Worlds", but in the end of the day I'm too much of a purist when it comes to portraiture.

Damn! That guy seriously DOES look just like David Tennant! :wow: That's pretty incredible, considering his really unique features and expressions. But THIS guy NAILED him! Great shot!

Yeah, I was like "WTF no way!" and he was very nice about pictures and geeking out with me over DW.

He's on deviant art, so check him out! His name's in the description above; I just don't know how to to those logo ID icon things as links.

Now *THAT* is amazing! He has Ten's facial expression and mannerism "spot on"! I'll have to show that to my sons, who are both mega Whovians ... well, son #3 more than son #4.

You start with a colon :

Then you type the word "icon"

Then type the Deviantartist's screename

Then close it with another another colon :

And then you get that icon link thingy--> :iconalternatecoppa:

Judging by the positive comments, I have a humorous rec for you: next time you cosplay as Ten, get someone to take a picture of you licking something. (probably not a wall, though...ew...dirt...) Especially with the DT hair and glasses. You'd probably get about a billion hits. Ten tastes, licks, smells, and eats something even slightly suspicious.
